VISION STATEMENT
Wilson High School and its stakeholders are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive community where every student is empowered to achiever their fullest individual potential. We commit to creating a safe and supportive environment that honors and celebrates the unique identities and experiences of all students. Together through measurable actions, we will ensure every student is prepared for life after high school.
Wilson School opened its doors in 1916 in the Zip City community. In 1920 the school moved to the current campus. Over the years Wilson has had many additions in grade levels and buildings. The first graduating class was in 1970. Wilson High School was separated from Wilson Elementary in 2022 and serves children in the area from grades 7th-12th grade. School begins at 8:00am and ends at 3:00pm each day. Our population is around 680 students with approximately 40 faculty members and 25 support staff members. Our mascot is the warrior and our school colors have historically been royal blue, white, gold/yellow, silver/gray, and black.
